The Main directions


The strategic objectives of the Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of the State University of Trade and Economics in the field of international activity are determined pursuant to the Program of Development for a Structural Subdivision for the period up to 2025. Main tasks of the stated above are as follows:

• in-depth international cooperation;

• participation in exchange programs for the HEI professors in order to improve their professional skills and gain international experience;

• development of scientific partnership and coverage of the joint research results with the foreign partners through the publication of monographs and scientific articles;

• expanding participation of students and the faculty in the international academic projects and programs.

Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of the State University of Trade and Economics cooperates with foreign educational institutions through the joint scientific conferences, round tables, internship programs for teachers, mobility programs for students and teachers, participation in the Erasmus + program.

Under the partnership and cooperation agreements with international educational establishments, our Institute collaborates with the partners from Austria, Bulgaria, Georgia, Latvia, Moldova, Northern Cyprus, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic (total of 28 agreements and it has 5 agreements with organizations for fulfilling international practical training of the students).

Our professors and students have the opportunity to publish their scientific research works in scientific collections of the partner educational establishments on a free of charge basis: at Old Polish University (Poland), the University of Economics in Katowice (Poland), UNION University (Serbia), Higher School of Economics and Public Administration (Slovakia).

Considerable attention is paid to work with the international partner universities as to the student participation in academic mobility programs (Erasmus +, etc.).

Besides it, the students of our Institute have the opportunity to participate in summer internships at hotel and restaurant business in Bulgaria, Turkey and Greece.
