Participation of Yurii Koroliuk in the International Seminar on Cyber Security
On January 25, 2025, Professor of the Department of Management, Marketing and International Logistics Yurii Koroliuk took part in an International Seminar on Cyber Security organized by Indian DPU and AKG Global Security Organizations.
The Seminar discussed topical issues of cyber security in the educational and economic environment. The main speakers were Dr. Deepak Singh (Co-Founder & CEO, DK Infotech India), Mohd. Faisal (Lead Network Security Comm- Singapore), Mr. Dharminder S Rana (Senior Security Eno- SIRT Singapore), Dr. Pushpinder S. Patheja (Dean-VIT Bhopal India) covered key aspects of information security and risk management in the modern digital world. They discussed current cyber threats, including phishing, DDoS attacks, malware and insider threats. Special attention was paid to the protection of personal data in educational institutions and companies, as well as the security of educational platforms and financial systems. The participants analyzed practical cases of real attacks, their consequences and effective response strategies.
Yurii Koroliuk participated as the Project Manager of the Project «Links between theory and practice in cross-border education in Romania and in Ukraine» (Project ID: HUSKROUA/23/RS/3.1/043), started by CHITE SUTE on January 1, 2025, within the framework of the Interreg Vl-A NEXT Hungary Slovakia Romania Ukraine 2021-2027 program. Experience gained at the Seminar is extremely important for the implementation of the planned digital educational platform and its cyber security, which is one of the main goals of the two-year project program.
