Academic mobility programs and Erasmus+
On April 3, 2025, an information event about the possibilities to take part at the academic mobility programs and Erasmus+ was held in the Assembly Hall.
For students of all specialties, the Head of the Department of Scientific and Methodological Work and International Relations Alla Shymko told about the opportunities of the EU Erasmus+ program.
Halyna Gurdish (Melnychenko), a former student of ChITE SUTE, shared her experience of studying at the University of Transylvania (Brasov, Romania) under the Erasmus+ program. She spoke about adapting to a new culture, challenges, and unique opportunities she received through international education.
Among the main issues pointed out by Halyna was the following extremely important appeal to students: «If you dream of studying abroad, don't miss the chance to participate in the Erasmus+ program! Discover new countries and cultures, broaden your horizons, and get unique opportunities for personal and professional growth. Studying abroad is not only about academic knowledge, but also about invaluable international experience, new acquaintances, development of communication skills and self-confidence!».
The event was attended by the Acting Head of the Department of Finance, Accounting and Taxation Konon Bahrii and Associate Professor of the Department of Management, Marketing and International Logistics Yurii Chaplinskyi. Their questions to the guest allowed us to reveal more deeply important aspects of the organization of the educational process in a foreign educational institution. They also raised the issues of access to digital educational resources, support of students by the teaching staff, and the peculiarities of academic integrity in foreign universities.
The students were interested in asking more questions about the funding of the Erasmus+ program, the amount of scholarships, and the session period organization.
At the end of the event, Halyna emphasized the importance of obtaining higher education in general, the need for continuous development and self-improvement.
She thanked ChITE SUTE for her wonderful years of being a student, high level of knowledge and the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ program.
