Roundtable discussion: «Cooperation between business and academia for student skills development: partnership in creating effective training programs»
Aiming to improve the quality of the educational process and promoting international academic mobility among the students, on August 27, 2025, ChITE SUTE, in partnership with Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (Romania), held a round table «Cooperation between business and academia for the development of student skills: partnership in creating effective training programs» (online/offline participation) as part of the international project «Links between theory and practice in cross-border education in Romania and Ukraine» (LINKSROUACBE), HUSKROUA/23/RS/3.1/043. Teachers of Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of the State University of Trade and Economics and the Master's degree students majoring in 072 «Finance, Banking, Insurance, and Stock Market,» 073 «Management,» 181 «Food Technology», as well as stakeholders of educational programs, leading employers in the Chernivtsi region, heads of local communities, and representatives of Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava actively discussed current issues related to the implementation of modern educational programs, the formation of individual educational trajectories for students through participation in academic mobility programs and international grant projects. There was particularly active discussion on the issue of developing the competencies and results necessary for the competitiveness of program graduates in the labor market.
Such meetings contribute to the integration of new elements and components of educational programs, the modernization of the educational process at the ChITE SUTE to harmonize with international practices in higher education.
