XIII Bukovyna Student Science Festival
On October 23-24, 2025, the CHITE SUTE organized the XIII Bukovyna Student Science Festival, which had already entered the international level. The development of scientific student initiatives that have entrepreneurial potential and their implementation are extremely important for restoration of the economy of Ukraine in the post-war period. This year, the festival was attended by the students from the Kyiv National Linguistic University, the Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture, the Yu. Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, the Chernivtsi High Commercial Specialized School of SUTE, as well as students from the organizing institutions - CHITE SUTE and the Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava, Romania.
Director, Prof., Anatolii VDOVICHEN opened the Festival with the warm welcoming speech and congratulations of participants on the beginning of the event and wished them successful presentation of their projects and research papers.
Deputy Director, Prof. Vasyl Kyfyak introduced the jury members, representatives of local authorities and professional experts as follows:
- Ruslana Sidliar, Deputy Director, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Energy Efficiency of the Department of Socio-Economic Development and Strategic Planning of the Chernivtsi City Council;
- Inha Trufen, Deputy Head of the Microcredit Department of the Chernivtsi Regional Department of "JSC Oschadbank";
- Liudmila Stoliar, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Deputy General Director for Accounting, Finance and Statistics, Chief Accountant of Company with additional liability "Chernivtsi Chemical Plant";
- Mariia Iglinska, Director of the "Mary be" coffee shop.
The Festival was opened with presentations of business projects. After excited discussions, the winners were determined as follows:
- 1st place – “Food Waste Zero”, Kamilla MAMCHY (scientific consultant – Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor Tetiana Brykova), ChITE SUTE;
- 2nd place – “Travel Agency “New Satellite””, Polina HRYSHCHUK, Viktoriia SHEVCHUK, Yana PETRENKO (scientific consultant – Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor Viktor Zinchenko), Kyiv National Linguistic University;
- 2nd place – “Attraction “Bicycle Loop””, Natalia SVIDNITSKA, Bohdan KOCHERHAN (scientific consultant – Ph.D. in Economics, Associate Professor Volodymyr Yevdoshchak), ChITE SUTE;
- 3rd place – Restaurant “Sky food”, Roman POP (scientific consultant – Ph.D. in Engineering, Associate Professor Tetiana Marusiak), Chernivtsi High Commercial Specialized School of SUTE.
Students presented their scientific research in the second part of the Festival.
The top three proze-winners were:
- Marta SHCHEPAN, Uliana MALCHYN with the research “Innovative directions of using vegetarian products in the RIO Children's Entertainment Center” (scientific consultant –– Ph.D., Associate Professor Orysia Izhevska), Lviv State University of Physical Culture named after Ivan Boberskyi – 1st place;
- Olena SNIHUR with the work “Green Logistics 2.0: Modern Solutions for Sustainable Business” (scientific consultant – Ph.D., Associate Professor Oksana Verstiak), ChITE SUTE – 2nd place;
- Viktoriia ROMANSKA, Viktoriia CHURIUK – “Socio-economic challenges and prospects of general and regional trends in the development of tourism in Ukraine during the war and post-war period” (scientific consultant – Ph.D., Associate Professor Roman Hyshchuk), ChITE SUTE – 3rd place.
The festival jury members noted the innovativeness and creativity of the students’ works.
The winners received diplomas and numerous gifts from them and sponsors.
