Navigating Crises: ChITE SUTE Faculty Enhance Expertise at
The International Hospitality Risk Management Webinar
On January 15, 2026, faculty members from the Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of SUTE (ChITE SUTE) participated in the high-level International Webinar, "Risk Management in Tourism and Hospitality Industry in Relation to Crisis Management." Held virtually, this global academic event targeted the most pressing challenges of risk mitigation and crisis recovery currently facing global tourist destinations, hospitality providers, and large-scale event projects. Attendees analyzed modern strategic frameworks, dissected international case studies, and explored practical tools designed to build resilience across the industry during periods of geopolitical and economic instability.
The webinar featured an elite panel of European experts, including:
• Prof. JU Dr. Ludmila Novacká, Ph.D. — Professor at the University of South Bohemia (Czech Republic), and a renowned expert in international project development and tourism destination management.
• Dipl. Eng. Matěj Pejsar — Academic researcher, lecturer, and specialist in strategic planning and sustainable destination development (Czech Republic).
This international academic initiative was organized under the prestigious patronage of La Fondation pour la Formation Hôtelière (Switzerland), in close collaboration with the Department of Hotel and Restaurant Business at the Odesa National University of Technology.
Following the completion of the rigorous program, five distinguished ChITE SUTE faculty members were awarded personalized international certificates of completion: Valentyna Chychun, Tetiana Nezveschuk-Kohut, Olha Romanovska, Tetiana Marusiak, and Roman Hyshchuk.
