ChITE SUTE Secures Second Place in COOKING QUIZ Europe International CHAMPION 2026
In February 2026, a talented team of students from the Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of SUTE (ChITE SUTE) participated in the prestigious European Championship of Food Technology Experts: COOKING QUIZ Europe International CHAMPION 2026. Celebrating its landmark 10th anniversary this year, this high-profile championship operates under the distinguished auspices of UNESCO. Annually, it unites more than 30,000 students from over 100 European educational institutions, earning a reputation as one of the most innovative and forward-thinking educational projects in the global hospitality sector.
The Ukrainian delegation delivered an outstanding performance during this competitive stage, proudly capturing Second Place in their group. ChITE SUTE was narrowly outpaced only by the powerhouse team from Madrid, Spain, a veteran squad with years of championship experience.
The final stage of the event is organized in exclusive collaboration with Parma Food Valley, the premier gastronomic cluster of the region. Thanks to this strategic partnership, the ChITE SUTE finalists have earned an extraordinary, hands-on educational itinerary, which includes:
