On December 15, 2025, teachers from the Chernivtsi Institute Trade and Economics of SUTE joined the international online webinar “Cuisine and Restaurant Business of Slovakia,” dedicated to the peculiarities of Slovak cuisine, the restaurant business, and the country's tourism development.
On December 4, 2025, the working team of the international grant project “Links between Theory and Practice in Cross-Border Education in Romania and Ukraine” (HUSKROUA/23/RS/3.1/043) headed by the Director of the Institute, Anatolii VDOVICHEN, took part in a Round Table discussion entitled “Education linked to the labor market – the link between theory and practice,” which took place at the Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (Suceava, Romania).
From December 2 to 4, 2025, professors and teachers of the ChITE SUTE who fulfill the international grant project “Links between theory and practice in cross-border education in Romania and Ukraine” (HUSKROUA/23/RS/3.1/043) had participated in academic mobility and exchanged experiences with the teachers from Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (Suceava, Romania).
On November 26, 2025, the Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of SUTE, in partnership with the Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (Romania), held a Round Table discussion entitled “Inclusive and Digital Economy in the Process of Ukraine's Integration into the European Space: Education, Innovation, Business“ as part of the international project ”Links between theory and practice in cross-border education in Romania and Ukraine” (LINKSROUACBE), HUSKROUA/23/RS/3.1/043.
On November 11, 2025, Nadiia CHUNTUL, a student of the Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of SUTE, was awarded a Certificate of successful internship completion at the hotel and restaurant businesses of Italy in 2025. Paolo Brescia, President of the U.C.M. Italy Association “Mediterranean Union of Chefs,” personally presented the award.
On October 24, 2025, a Scientific and Methodological Seminar “International Experience in Implementing Educational Programs: Features of Forming an Individual Educational Trajectory and Opportunities for Academic Mobility” (learning, teaching, research) was held in cooperation with Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava.
Aiming to improve the quality of the educational process and promoting international academic mobility among the students, on August 27, 2025, ChITE SUTE, in partnership with Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (Romania), held a round table «Cooperation between business and academia for the development of student skills: partnership in creating effective training programs» (online/offline participation) as part of the international project «Links between theory and practice in cross-border education in Romania and Ukraine» (LINKSROUACBE), HUSKROUA/23/RS/3.1/043. Teachers of Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of the State University of Trade and Economics and the Master's degree students majoring in 072 «Finance, Banking, Insurance, and Stock Market,» 073 «Management,» 181 «Food Technology», as well as stakeholders of educational programs, leading employers in the Chernivtsi region, heads of local communities, and representatives of Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava actively discussed current issues related to the implementation of modern educational programs, the formation of individual educational trajectories for students through participation in academic mobility programs and international grant projects. There was particularly active discussion on the issue of developing the competencies and results necessary for the competitiveness of program graduates in the labor market.
On June 5, 2025, a delegation of scientists from the Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of SUTE took part in the International Economic Conference «Challenges and Opportunities for Sustainable Development», held at the Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (Suceava, Romania).
On April 4, 2025, an American volunteer, former pilot and teacher of English language courses at the Institute of Postgraduate Education Gary Gale met with the 1st and 2nd year students and their professors of ChITE SUTE in the format of an English-speaking Conversation Club.
On April 3, 2025, an information event about the possibilities to take part at the academic mobility programs and Erasmus+ was held in the Assembly Hall.
On January 25, 2025, Professor of the Department of Management, Marketing and International Logistics Yurii Koroliuk took part in an International Seminar on Cyber Security organized by Indian DPU and AKG Global Security Organizations.
On January 22, 2025, he Deputy Director of the СHITE, Doctor of Economics, Professor Vasyl KYFYAK, met with Irina-Loredana STANCULESCU, the Consul General of Romania in the city of Chernivtsi.
On January 22, 2025, the Consulate General of Romania in the Chernivtsi city (Ukraine) hosted a Forum of representatives of local educational institutions, business, government and public organizations of the two countries. The event was initiated and organized by Ioan ITСO, a European Union expert on tourism development.
On January 1, 2025, the Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of SUTE has been successfully approved for the participation and has started taking part in the Project by the Interreg Vl-A NEXT Hungary Slovakia Romania Ukraine 2021-2027 Program co-funded European Union.
