In 1999 Anatolii Vdovichen graduated from Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi State University with a degree majoring in International Economics.
Since 2000 he has been working at Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of State University of Trade and Economics. He started his work activity as an Assistant of the Department of Economic Entrepreneurship and Management.
Since 2016 till 2020, he worked as the Head of the Department of Management and Tourism in CHITE SUTE.
On November 17, 2017, he defended his Doctoral Thesis named «Formation Peculiarities and Regulation Mechanisms of Macroeconomic Disparities in the Economy of Ukraine» for the Doctor of Economics Degree (Speciality 08.00.03 «Economics and Management of the National Economy»).
The academic title of a Professor of the Department of Management and Tourism at CHITE SUTE was awarded to Mr.Anatolii Vdovichen in 2019.
On September 17, 2020, Anatolii Vdovichen was appointed as the director of the Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics (by KNUTE Resolution No.990K dated September 16, 2020).
Throughout his career, A.Vdovichen has been actively engaged in scientific and research work. He authored more than 170 scientific works, and more than 100 educational and methodical publications, including manuals and textbooks. During October 2019, he had an internship at TOV «Karpaty Autocenter». Besides it, he had successfully completed the international internships as follows:

on January 23 - 27, 2017 – at Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (Romania);

in 2018: «Modern teaching methods in economics on the EU educational market» at Wyzsza szkola spoleczno-gospodarskaw Przeworsku (Poland);

on May 2 – 5, 2018 - «Current state and perspectives of tourism development and Evaluation of internal education: challenges and perspectives», at Stefan cel Mare University (Romania);

on November 13 till November 16, 2020 - at Stefan cel Mare University (Romania);

on December 22, 2020 till January 26, 2021 at Stefan cel Mare University (Romania) (without interrupting the educational process).
A.Vdovichen participated in more than 40 international and national conferences, symposia, and seminars. He has co-authored 9 scientific articles published in international journals, authorized in SCOPUS and WEB OF SCIENCE scientific databases, 15 joint monographs, 3 monographs, 7 manuals and a large number of other scientific publications. Among other things, he has been both supervising students’ research work and training students for participation in various scientific competitions.
Sphere of scientific interests: features of modern management, improving processes of international investment management, regional economy, tourism sphere and mechanisms regulating macroeconomic imbalances in the national and global economy.
Anatolii Vdovichen is the:

Member of the expert group evaluating the effectiveness of activity of higher education institutions as to their scientific and technical work in research focus area of «Social Sciences»;

Member of the Coordination Council for Innovative Development of the Chernivtsi Region under the Department of Education and Science of the Regional State Administration;

Member of the Expert Council on the methodology for assessing the tourism industry and developing its innovative models of development and functioning in the Chernivtsi region;
